From Six to Nine Months
- Movement: Raises arms to be picked up, points at desired objects, can sit unsupported, uses thumb and forefinger to pick up objects, is able to feed himself, is able to drink from a sippy cup
- Social Skills: Becomes fearful of strangers, becomes attached to primary care giver, hates for primary caregiver to leave him alone
- Responses: Facial expressions begin to match emotions, varies the length and pitch of his sounds, also begins to put syllables together, pays attention t one toy at a time, appears to study objects
